Habib Youssef Kiwan born on June 11, 1941 in Hidab, Jezzine, Lebanon – Passed away peacefully in Ottawa on Wednesday, November 22, 2017. Beloved husband of Nawal Kiwan (of the Abraham family). Loving father of Rita Madere (Richard), Diane Otell (Fadi), Suzy Kiwan, Tanya Cowick (Scott), Elias Kiwan (Natasha) and Tony Kiwan (Jacqueline). Cherished grandfather of Kayla, Antonio, Sabrina, Brandon, Zayna, Jordan, Hazel, Noah, Kyle, Joshua, Kianna, Gabriella, Zoey and Michael. Brother of Antoine Kiwan (Nawal), Antoinette Aoun (the late Boutros), Mimi Aoun (the late Hanna), Hanna Kiwan (Maggie), The late Therese Kiwan, Georgette Ibrahim (Fouad), Salwa Saikaley (Fouad) Mona Abou-Zeid (Simon) and Charbel Kiwan (Randa). Son of the late Youssef Habib Kiwan and the late Hassibi Khawandi Kiwan.

The family will receive friends at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Friday, November 24th, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at St Charbel Maronite Catholic Parish at 10:00 a.m., with interment to follow in Beechwood Cemetery.
