It is with our deepest sorrow that we inform you of the passing away of our beloved husband, father and grandfather, Georges Hanna El-Hajj, on the 18th of November 2016, at the Ottawa Hospital. Beloved husband of Salma El-Hajj, loving father of Nelly (François), Mona (Jean), Simon (Lydia), Salim (Katia), Elie (Siham), Rowaida, Ghassan and Wafaa, he will be dearly missed by his many grandchildren, extended family and friends.
Family and friends may pay respect at the Beechwood Funeral Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Avenue, on Sunday the 20th of November 2016 from 5pm to 9pm.
Funeral services will be held at Sts. Peter & Paul Melkite Catholic Church on Monday the 21st of November 2016, 11am. Interment will follow at Les Jardins du Souvenir on 75 Boulevard Fournier in Gatineau.
If desired, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Canadian Cancer Society.
