Passed away peacefully on Monday, January 14, 2019, at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Nouhad Jamous. Loving father of Mirna (Johnny Haddad), Fadi (Samar Samaha), Danny (Nisrine Achhab) and Jocelyne (Elias Semaan). Cherished Jiddo of Gabriel, Pascal, Noor, Naseem, Joy, Maya, Nicolas and Matthieu. Dear brother of Ibrahim and Edouard of Canada and predeceased by Victor, Rachid, Claudine, Noel, Clairette and Therese.
He will be dearly remembered by his relatives, friends and many students in Lebanon as a dedicated teacher and school principal. The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, January 18, 2019 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Beechwood Funeral and Cemetery Services, 280 Beechwood Ave., Ottawa. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Charbel Parish Ottawa, Maronite Catholic Church, 245 Donald St. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery, 75 Fournier, Gatineau. In memory of Faraj, donations to Saint Charbel Parish would be appreciated.
