Thanks Ethel for being there for so many of our family members during our formative years. You probably guessed that for many of us, you were a surrogate Mom. So sorry we cannot be at your service. Our condolences to all, Bill & Sue Wade

Sweet Ethel - the last of the 3 "girls" to leave us. The wonderful times that you and Mom and Florence had! You were there for us so many times Ethel, and for that we were truly blessed. Rest in Peace my friend.
Love, Sharon

Nicole Cote (Martin) maiden name (Niece - She was the wife of my uncle Albert Martin from Cyrville, Ontario)

Entered July 3, 2017 from Bourget, ON

I recognize this lady as the wife of my uncle Albert Martin. He was the eldest son of Charles Martin and Rose Alma Bourque. My uncle and aunt lived on Queen Mary Street for multiple years, in Overbook. She was a housewife with 4 or 5 children, the oldest son was Brian, then Gordon and I am not familiar with the names of the girls etc. My uncle was a vegetable gardener, it was the family business in those days from father to son. They grew vegetable on the farm land on Ogilvie Road (across the Street from Mermaid Pools and the Retirement Residence. Albert passed away over 30 years ago, he died of gum Cancer. He chewed tobacco and smoked big cigars. Him and his brother Marcel Martin were in business together and they rented the Ogilvie Farm from their widowed mother. Once the land was sold both brothers purchased their own property and continued to be gardeners. Uncle Albert's property was on Navan Road just past the current (2017) vegetable stand on the right side of the road.
