WWII War Bride 1924-2016

Passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones, in Ottawa on December 9, 2016; in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Roy Butler. Cherished mother of Pam (Gerry), Gail (Ernie), Derek (Mona), Sharon (Rick), Valerie (Jeff), Greg (Suzanne) and Brenda (Ron). Loving Grandmother to 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by Dawna Erskine (Wayne) and by special nephew Raymond Rosedale (Annie). Daughter of the late Thomas and Emily Collins (Dover, England). Predeceased by sisters Marion, May and Maude.

Services to be held at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa), on Saturday, December 17th, 2016, with visitation from 12 noon until the time of Memorial Service at 2 p.m., followed by interment and reception. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Operation Smile Canada Foundation, or to The Salvation Army.
