BETHUNE, Donald Loren (b.1930). At the Ottawa Hospital on Thursday, September 1, 2016. Dearly loved husband of Di Bethune, and devoted father of Margot Hare and Andrew Bethune (Amy). Loving grandfather of Madeleine and Cameron Hare and Graham, Rowan and Greta Bethune. Son of the late Norman and Lois Bethune, brother of the late Norman Bethune (Barb). Funeral arrangements entrusted to Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, Ottawa. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church (125 MacKay Street, Ottawa), on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ottawa Humane Society.
