Diane has been a role model for me all my life; a woman of intelligence, kindness, curiosity and stability. I carry her name, Leslie Diane, and love that connection.

Diane was a woman who walked in the world with grace and showed me how to be a caring human being.

The love between her and my mother, Marian, has always been evident. Together they taught me how to love and cherish my brothers, Tim and Paul.

Scott and I send our deepest sympathy to my cousins, their spouses and children and the Richard clan as you gather together in Ottawa to celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman.
