ATTWELL, MWO Clifford George Edward ret’d (October 25, 1932-November 2, 2016)
With deep sadness, the family of Clifford announces his peaceful passing with his loving family by his side on November 2, 2016 at the age of 84. Son of the late George Attwell and the late Elizabeth Fraser. Beloved husband and soulmate of Arlene ( née Nadon) Devoted father of Sharon (Jack), Sandra (Terry), Michael (Anne), Peggy (Larry) and Debbie (Danny). Loving grandfather of Margaret, Melissa, Brandon, David, Brian, Garrett, Sean and Lee and proud great-grandfather of 12. Brother of Elizabeth (late Don Dartnell), Barbara (John Wilson). Predeceased by his brother James. He will also be missed by extended family members including his “Crooked Rapids” family and many dear friends. Family and friends are invited to visit at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue (East of Vanier Parkway), on Thursday, November 10, 2016 from 12 noon until the time of the Memorial Service in the Sacred Space at 2 p.m. Interment to follow with Military Honours at the National Military Cemetery of the Canadian Forces. In memory of Clifford, donation to the Wounded Warriors of Canada and Hockey Fights Cancer would be appreciated. Tributes may be sent via Lifetimes at www.beechwoodottawa.ca

Cliff, you will be dearly missed at Crooked Rapids.

I came across this quote today that was beautiful put and is helpful at this time:
