With her loving family by her side, it is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of Clare Moore, on Sunday, May 29. Clare is survived by her brother Bobby Johnston (Willi), her children and stepchildren, James Warren (Karen), Nancy Warren (Trevor), Anne (Allen), Geoffrey (Ann), her grandchildren Amanda (Sydney), Matthew (Victoria) great grandson Riley and great granddaughter Vivian, Stephanie, Nikolas, Harry and Alex.

Clare was predeceased by her husband Stephen Robert Moore, her sister Gail and her stepson Robert.

Clare met and married Stephen Moore in Ottawa in 1977 and they began their life together, they were married for 39 years. They enjoyed golf and travel together and you would often hear her favourite music from Rod Stewart or Leonard Cohen playing in the background at home.

On Friday June 2, 2017, a Memorial Service will be held at the Beechwood Cemetery Chapel at 10:00am followed by a burial service at 11:00am and a reception to follow.

Clare was loved by many and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
