While I did not know Cissy well, I had known her for many years through Guiding. She always had a smile and was cheerful.
She will be missed by many. My deepest sympathy to all her family.

A unique force, a Presence, and one of the most self-assured, resolute individuals I have ever known. Sad for our loss, but happy in the knowledge that she is reunited with Bob.
Deborah and I, along with Cissy's grandnephews Paul Jr and Connor and grandniece Marcella, send our deepest sympathies to all.
Cissy and Bob were friendly good neighbours, we had many good chats together in Roxboro. We kept in touch ever since we left in the 80’s and after we both lost our husbands, RIP dear Cissy.
I was truly sorry to learn of Cissy’s passing. We had met through Girl Guides on the Guiding centenary trip to Toronto, where she was remarkable for her enthusiasm and unfailing good humour. I had the chance to spend some time with Cissy since then, and learned a bit more about her - kind and witty, a genuine person - and in spite of a thirty year gap in our ages, she struck me as a kindred spirit. Take comfort in the many memories of Cissy - through her family, and those closest to her, she will be remembered always.
