Peacefully and surrounded by the love of her family, Cathi passed away in the early afternoon of October 26, 2017.

She will be fondly missed by her devoted and caring husband Michael and their loving children Amanda Julia, Samantha Catherine, Rebecca Marie, John (Jake) Paul Stefan, and Alexandra Michelle. Cathi is predeceased by her parents John and Patricia Walker. She will forever be in the hearts of John, Jennifer, Joseph, and Fred (Gina, 2013). Cathi will be terribly missed by her nieces and nephews: Michael (Carol, 2017) and Laurie (Christine) Hanmer, Maureen (Doug) Fields, Jennifer (Graeme) Grant, Michael (Christine) Speer, Nikola and Sonya Ruddy, Jack and Joe McLaughlin.

The Ruddy family wishes to thank and extend their sincere appreciation to the very compassionate staff of the Ottawa Hospital – General Campus for their excellent care of Cathi.

A visitation will be held at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue (East of Vanier Parkway), on Monday October 30th, from 3 to 7 pm. The funeral service will be celebrated in the Sacred Space at Beechwood on Tuesday October 31st, at 11 am, followed by the interment in Beechwood Cemetery. Reception details to be announced following the ceremony.

In lieu of flowers, in memory of Cathi, donations can be made to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.
