After a courageous battle with cancer, we announce with great sadness the passing of Jean G. Allard on November 19, 2016. He was predeceased by his parents Albert Allard and Joan Ferguson. He is survived by his daughter Isabelle (Mathew MacDonald), and brothers and sisters: Donald (Sylvie Gendreau), Doris (Fabien St-Gelais), Carole, Marc-André (Diane Thibeault), late Guy (Line Dumais) and Diane (André Savard). Fondly remembered by several nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends are invited to visit Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services, 280 Beechwood Avenue (East of Vanier Parkway), Friday, November 25, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. Funeral service will be held on Saturday November 26, 2016 at 9:30 a.m. in the Sacred Space of Beechwoood. Interment to follow with Military Honours at the National Military Cemetery of the Canadian Forces. In memory of Jean, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
