Dey, Betty Irene (nee Nowak) passed on her own terms, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at the age of 80. She was the beloved wife of Eric Dey for 60 years. Loving mother of Deborah (Rheal), Katherine (Andrew), Sandra, Keith (predeceased) and Jennifer. Cherished grandmother of Melanie (Jamie), Eric (Kate), Christopher, Colin, Isabelle and Matthew and great-grandmother to Olivia. Dear sister of Norma and Michael and beloved daughter of the late Helen and John Nowak.
Family and friends are invited to join us in celebrating Betty's life on Monday, August 28, 2017 at the Beechwood Funeral, Cemetery, and Cremation Services Sacred Space, 280 Beechwood Ave, Ottawa (On) at 11:30 am, followed by a reception.

In memory of Betty's zest for life we invite you to dress in colour and come and share a joyful memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society and Alzheimer"s Society would be appreciated.
The family would also like to extend their gratitude to the staff at St. Vincent's Hospital {with special a mention of thanks to Dr. Raymond} and the Civic Hospital.
