Passed away peacefully on March 22, 2018 at the age of 73. Loving wife to Dib for 50 years. She leaves behind her children George (Marianne), Paul (Suanne), Serge (Benjamin) and Dina (Sebastien). She will be sadly missed by her ten grandchildren. Barbara loved archaeology and went on many expeditions with her husband to Syria over the last twenty years. She was always very proud of her work and was recently published in her field of study. The family would like to give special thanks to the Maycourt Hospice, Dr. Thompson and to Father James for their compassion in Barbara’s final days.

Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Service which will be held at Annunciation Orthodox Cathedral (15 Eccles St, Ottawa, ON) on Saturday, March 24th at 11am. Burial at Beechwood National Memorial Cemetery, 280 Beechwood Ave (east of Vanier Parkway) will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Maycourt Hospice and to the Annunciation Orthodox Cathedral.
