HANNA, Aziz- Passed peacefully surrounded by family in Gatineau on Saturday, December 9th, 2017; age 71 years. Beloved husband of Afaf Hanna. Loving father of Christine Hanna (Pierre Gratton), Patrick Hanna (Feng Yao) and Johannie Hanna (Guillaume Desmeules). Cherished grandfather of Marie-Eve, Myriam, Alexandre, Olivier and Sebastien. Brother of Atef Hanna (Daisy), Mokhless Hanna (Marlene) and Cecile Mina (Nabil). Son of the late Sadek and Mary Hanna (Salib).

The family will receive friends at Beechwood, Funeral, Cemetery and Cremation Services (280 Beechwood Ave. Ottawa), on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in St. George and St. Antony’s Coptic Orthodox Church at 10:30 a.m., interment to follow at Beechwood Cemetery. For those who wish to make a donation in Aziz’s memory may do so towards St. George and St. Anthony’s Coptic Orthodox Church.

I am sorry that uncle Aziz has passed and that I could not be with the family at this difficult time . My sincere deepest condolences to all of you ( Aunt Afaf, Christine, Patrick and Johannie) to his brothers and sister (my dad Mokhless, Uncle Atef and Aunt Cecil ) may god and the love of friends and family carry you through your grief.

I will always remember my dad and Uncle Aziz joking around , laughing and sharing many stories about how often people confused them, and looking more like twins rather than brothers in their ealier years.
